Sony pulls back PS now cards and might be preparing the Game Pass

Sony apparently draws physical PS now credit cards from traffic. Corresponding reports are now baked from the UK, but also in the US, that should happen a few weeks ago. Therefore, among other things, well-known industry insiders like Jason Schrader suspect that they are preparations for Sony's new subscription service. Supposedly, PS Plus and PS Now should merge namely and re-launch as a kind of Game Pass Competition.

What's here? In the United Kingdom, a message is probably a message that requires retail dealers to draw the physical credit cards for PS NOW. Apparently, the chains have time to meet the request by 19 January. From this point, the old cards should then no longer be offered (via: VentureBeat).

Thereafter, in the UK, there is probably no way more to buy a PS Noway in retail or expand the balance or recharge. The same thing should happen in the US about a month ago, but without all too much attention to generate.

PS Plus and PS Now: Preparations for new service could run

Fusion vs Game Pass? As the well-connected journalist and insider Jason Schrader on Twitter, it could happen as preparation for Sony's new streaming and subscription service. The company operates internally under the name Spartacus and already some time ago it was in a Bloomberg report that we would probably expect a combination of PS Now and PS Plus:

A corresponding subscription service with some additional features and extended circumference could actually be brought into position by Sony's response to the Xbox Game Pass from Microsoft. Also, that the physical PS NOW cards disappear from the trade would fit and possibly indicates a speedy start.

When is the new PS plus? There is not an official appointment yet. However, Jason Schrader is apparently for this spring for probably and writes on Twitter, April would be not surprising. So far, the new subscription was not even officially announced. We do not know how the service is called and not yet, whether it is really a combination of PS plus and PS now. Just as little sure is that the matter with the credit cards has something to do with it.
