Prior to this list, the initial event that triggered this speculation was a filtration in Epic Games Store that suggested its existence, although until now we did not know a date of launch or what other platforms would appear. This list changes that and apparently makes it clear that you will arrive soon.

Also signaled by Gematsu is a pepper by the analyst Daniel Ahmad who suggests that an official announcement will be made next week, which is also also when Sony will present his PS5 showcase. That potentially points to the presentation is the official debut of Alan Wake Remastered.

It makes sense that the Remedy developer wants to return to Alan Wake after all these years. It is no secret that the people of the company loves the world of the game, so much that it is connected to the world of control with direct references to the main character and part of its DLC, AWE, announced as a cross between the two franchises. And Remedy has a record that he wants to do a Wake 2 Alan, so it makes sense that he wants to prepare the public with a remasterization.

Remedy recently launched control for next-generation consoles with control: Ultimate Edition, and we know that you are already working in a sequel and a multiplayer spin-off. It seems that there are even more stories that Remedy wants to tell in the shared universe of Alan Wake / Control.

Is NEVERWINTER Worth Playing in 2021?

Alan Wake was initially launched in 2010 as an exclusive Xbox 360, although Remedy recovered the publication rights recently. Control: Ultimate Edition is now available for PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PC.
