Alan Wake Remastered: New edition without real advertising

A spokesman for Remedy Entertainment has confirmed that Alan Wake Remastered will come to trade without advertising placement. At the former release in 2010, in the world of Bright, there were various advertising boards with advertising companies - including the US provider Verizon or Ford. Batteries for the Flashlight of the protagonist were sponsored by the manufacturer Energizer sponsored.

Because all these deals have now expired, the advertising placements are no longer installed in Alan Wake Remastered. Instead, the creators of Remedy could now accommodate fake products and other things in the game world, as it was also the case with Control. Only last week Publisher Epic Games shared the first trailer for the reissue of the thriller. From 5 October 2021 Alan Wake will then be available for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One. For the first time, the title will also appear for PlayStation.

Highlights of the new version include improvements in character models and environment details. On the PS5 and Xbox Series X you can experience Alan Wake Remastered in 4K and 60 FPS. Two graphics modes have already been confirmed for the PS4 Pro. On the PC, there is probably no restrictions - but the version will be available for the time being exclusively in the EPIC Games Store. In addition to the main game, the new edition will also include the two extensions The Signal and The Writer . Rumors around Alan Wake 2 for some time also make the round - also in cooperation with Publisher Epic Games.
