Wow: Why was Sylvanas Teldrassil down? New Lore
The fire of Teldrassil was a terrible tragedy that will no longer forget the players from World of Warcraft. In recent years, we speculated a lot about why Sylvanas devastated the home of the night elves and almost triggered the people of Kaldorei. Much what the Bansheekönigin in Wow: Battle for Azeroth did not make sense. Why did Sylvanas broke the fourth war from the fence? Did you work on your own? And why did not she show grace when attacking the dark coast?
Some questions Answer Blizzard only at the beginning of Wow: Shadowlands. Sylvanas was all the time with the Chairman. The fourth war served only to send as many souls as possible in the schlund so that Zovaal can break out of his dungeon. Nevertheless, it seemed strange that the Bansheekönigin, who appreciated their freedom over everything, worked for a villain with a twilight image.
Sylvanas' motifs gave us many puzzles even at the end of Shadowlans. Thanks to the new WoW book "Sylvanas" we can answer at least part of the many questions. Finally, Christie Golden grants the author of the new Romans, us an exciting insight into the world of thought of the dark princess.
There are many interesting passages in the book . Today we dedicate ourselves to the chapter in which it is about the war of the thorns and the attack on Teldrassil.
The original plan
Tread Darnassus, which did not belong to the original plan of Sylvanas. In the book, the Bansheekönigin and Suffang initially take a sights of Stormwind. The old ORC hopes that a short bloody fight will finally finish the constant conflicts between Horde and Allianz. However, given the high losses in the war against the burning legion, Sylvanas suspects that the war against stormwind will take a long time. The Bansheekönigin runs the time of it. The Schlund and the Chairman demand for new souls and so their choice falls on Darnassus. As a banal it also likes, the night elves just had bad luck that Teldrassil was closer to Orgrimmar turned as a stormwind.
Sylvanas Knew Her Goals Were Far Different from the Story She Wove for Surfang, Yet The Strategy - Shifting from A Direct Attack on Stormwind to Taking Darnassus and Holding It Hostage - Satisfied The Orc's Martial Plan and Her Own Far More Complex One.
Supposedly, Zovaal urgently needed souls so he could break the chains that bound him to Torghast. In the memory of the Primus, however, we see that the Chairman could move freely in the Schlund, for a long time before the third war in Azeroth broke out. When Sylvanas appeared at the end of Wotlk in the Schlund, the Chairman was chained in turn.
You can see that well in the video, in which Sylvanas and Zovaal meet for the first time. However, this inconsistency is just a small thing. Maybe "chain breaking" was meant in the transferred sense. The Chairman makes Sylvanas in the end of Legion definitely clear that he definitely needs more power to initiate the next stage of his plan.
