Remedy: Next game becomes part of the established Connected Universe
A few days ago Remedy had announced the second extension called AWE for the action title Control . At the end of the month, players will finally be able to penetrate in the abandoned sector and can examine some dangerous changed world events. Although in the main game already several times a connection to the 2010 Alan Wake published for Xbox 360 and PC, the latest trailer had also confirmed this crossover.
This is just the beginning
On the official site, Creative Director Sam Lake has also lost a few words and established a Connected Universe, which is also to be operated in future remedy games.
Maybe you have seen the trailer for AWE so far, our next extension for Control. For over 10 years we have been this crazy dream. The idea that the stories that are told in some of our games would be interconnected, a connected world of stories and events with shared characters and lore. Every game is an experience for itself, but every game is also the door to a larger universe with exciting opportunities for crossover events, Lake wrote.
In peace, you have worked in the realization of this idea and now it is time to take the first step in this direction and build the Connected Universe from Remedy. What happened in 2010 in Alan Wake is one of the cases that the Federal Bureau of Control examined. The AWE extension is the first official crossover event of the Remedy Connected Universe and brings more Alan Wake Lore in Control, says it.
