Epic Games et Remedy annoncent Alan Wake Remastered

It's finally official: Remedy Entertainment and Epic Games Publishing rose the veil on Alan Wake Remastered, the very first game funded by the generous Epic Games publishing label. An ad that makes it more likely the future output of an Alan Wake 2.

Fully remosted version of the game released on Xbox 360 In 2010, Alan Wake Remastered includes the two addering contents, The Signal and The Writer, with new graphics in 4K and new comments from the Creative Director Sam Lake. The game will be released on Epic Games Store but also PS5, PS4, Xbox Series and Xbox One. Apart from the appearance of the character in Control , this exit is of course the beginnings of Alan Wake on PlayStation. And for good reason, the game was published by Microsoft, which finally gave up all the rights of publication of the game in July 2019 for Remedy to be free to dispose of it.

Alan Wake Remastered is only the first of the two games that Remedy signed with Epic Games Publishing, the other being announced as a larger AAA game. According to industry sources, the game in question would be other than Alan Wake 2, a suite of which Remedy has been hoping for the public for more than a decade. What has changed ? The announcement of Epic Games Publishing, whose contractual conditions represent a real boon for studios. Because not content to finance all development and marketing costs in exchange for 50% of game sales, Epic Games Publishing leaves the developer in possession of his license. As a reminder, the next Playdead games ( INSIDE ) and Gen Design ( The Last Guardian ) will also enjoy these very favorable conditions.

Epic Games Store Is BURNING Hundreds of Millions! Tim Sweeney Is Losing Money With Epic Exclusives As for those who preferred the improbable adventures of Jesse Faden to that of the tortured Romanian who hunts most of his demons to the strength of his torch lamp, which they reassure each other because Remedy also plans to develop more forward the franchise Control With 505 games. As recently announced, a spin off multiplayer Control is currently under development while Remedy and 505 Games have also agreed for the subsequent development of a real successor to Control .
